iTec Dental Laboratory Founder/CEO
Hong founded the iTec Dental Laboratory in Orange County several years ago, after working as a master ceramist and manager of the implant department for one of the leading dental laboratories in California for 25 years. Hong has attended a wide range of continuing education courses with leaders in the industry covering everything from porcelain fused to metal to implants. He stays on the cutting edge of dental technology and invests in it for the growth of the laboratory. Hong enjoys teaching and working closely with his team.

1982 Graduated from High School in South Korea
1982-1985 Daegu Health and Medical College, Dental Prosthesis major, Graduated with Registered Dental Technician in Korea
1985-1988 Military Services in Medical Dental field
1988-1990 Kyong Buk Dental Laboratory – Waxer Technician
1990-1992 Immigrated to the US in February then joined Glidewell Laboratories in March as a wax and metal finisher
1992-1997 Promoted to Ceramic Department as a Ceramist
1997-2007 Promoted to Ceramic Department Manager, Did Porcelain Fused to Metal, Composite and Captek
2007-2015 Promoted to Implant Department Ceramic Manager
2015 to Present – Establish Itec Dental Laboratoty
